The splendid mixed colours of Alcea Rosea Hollyhocks Single Mixed are a fantastic option for any cottage garden or back border. The biennial or short-lived perennial can attract bees and insects with vibrant colours of pink, red, purple, or double shades. These look best when planted in groups of 3 or more. This can grow up to a height of 7ft.

| Site Conditions: | Grow faster in moderately fertile, loamy, slightly alkaline soil which needs full sun. |
| How to Sow: | Sow onto surface of compost in modules or a tray, cover with lid and place in a greenhouse. Cover lightly with compost or vermiculite and then exclude light until germination occurs, germination can take 2-3 weeks at 16-18°C. Pot on and plant out at the end of summer. Can grow upto 200cm. |
