Lettuce Little Gem (Cos) Seeds
Vegetable Seeds from Sow Seeds
Lettuce Little Gem produces small, crisp & crunchy compact lettuces with dark green leaves that are considered to be the sweetest of all lettuces.
Lettuce Little Gem is a quick maturing mini Cos type lettuce which can be sown in March/April to give an early crop in May/June or sown right up until July.
Lettuce Little Gem is easy to grow and its small size makes it ideal for harvesting whole for one meal at a time. It performs as well in the ground as in patio containers and the thinnings can be used as baby leaves in salads. Homegrown lettuce picked & used daily is as crisp & as fresh as it gets and it is cheap to grow from seed compared to supermarkets ones.
Lettuce Little Gem is our favourite lettuce of all.
