Kalettes (Flower Sprout Petit Posy) Seeds
Vegetable Seeds from Sow Seeds
Kalettes Garden Mix (Flower Sprout Petit Posy) is a new and unusual veg that is a cross between a Brussels Sprout & Curly Kale, it produces little mini like 'blown' cabbages up a brussels sprout stem.
They have a slightly milder taste than Brussels sprout with a sweeter, nutty flavour and are excellent steamed/stir-fried or microwaved. Brussels / Flower Sprout Petit Posy is an excellent winter hardy veg that is cared for like a Brussels sprout and will be ready to harvest from October to March depending on sowing time.
This variety sparked a lot of interest in early 2010 when this new veg appeared as it was the first new vegetable to be launched onto supermarkets shelves in nearly a decade. (M&S call it 'Flower Sprout'). Now it's your chance to buy the seed and 'grow your own.' It will not only be fresher but it will not have lost any of the valuable nutrients from harvest as it can be from plot to plate in a matter of minutes.
Flower Sprout Petit Posy (Kalettes) is a selection of 3 different varieties - green, purple & bi-coloured that will add colour & flavour to a winter dinner plate.
