Asparagus Pea Seeds
Vegetable Seeds from Sow Seeds
Asparagus Pea is a cracking little plant that is not only attractive with pretty crimson flowers that look beautiful in the ornamental garden but also produces a pod that is great to eat, tastes like asparagus and is very exotic in appearance.
The pod is best eaten when no longer than 2.5cm and is a little gourmet treat when gently cooked in butter and salt & pepper. It can also be used raw in salads. Asparagus Pea fit into the legume section of the crop rotation plan.
Asparagus Pea is an unusual addition to the veg patch, garden and your dinner plate.
