Carrot Eskimo F1 Seeds (AGM)
Vegetable Seeds from Sow Seeds
Carrot Eskimo is one of the tastiest vegetables to pick fresh from your garden in the depths of winter as it has excellent frost tolerance. Not too surprising given its name, but you will able to harvest from November through to January, affording a nice grow your own treat for Christmas dinner!. Sow seed thinly to reduce the need for thinning as carrot-fly are attracted by the sweet smell.
It is considered good companion planting to sow rows of carrots in between onions as the smell of the onions puts off the carrot-fly, a lot of onions are required though but worth a try.
