Unfortunately, sun loving, fruiting crops, such as Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Aubergines, are never going to thrive in shade. But, the good news is that there are plenty of other tasty Veg and Herbs that are worth growing even in shady areas!

We know how time consuming growing your own Vegetables & Herbs can be, but if you choose your crops carefully you're able to reduce your workload but still enjoy plenty of harvests.

The past 6 months of hard work has brought the kitchen garden to bloom over the past 2 months and now it delightfully culminates in the month of August. Although weeding and watering still take the bigger priority, the mood has not subsided, as there are many happy harvests to be brought in during this month.

We are always keen to find natural/organic ways that help to grow produce in a sustainable manner. And one of those natural ways is by making your own liquid feed/fertiliser from the herb Comfrey
